BONE SOUP | BOOK ACTIVITIES & CRAFTIVITY
It's that time of year...it's time to stir up some Bone Soup! This Halloween favorite by Alyssa Satin Capucilli is a spooky, tasty tale!
In the story, three witches are very hungry, but they have nothing to eat. All that's left in their cupboard is a bone...the perfect ingredient to make bone soup!
They go door to door, trying to get their neighbors to donate some more ingredients for their soup. They have interesting neighbors, who donate some yucky ingredients! (Your students will LOVE it!)
Of course, that is what makes this spooky tale so delightful!
The ingredients were added and the soup was made and shared by all. What a fun book to discuss working together and sharing!
I have made a fun book study unit, filled with Common Core aligned literacy companion activities for Kindergarten and First Grade. It includes a craftivity that makes a fun bulletin board display, to showcase learning.
