Click Clack Moo I Love You by Doreen Cronin has the farm animals preparing for the Valentine's Day dance in the barn! Even Farmer Brown is hard at work, getting ready by cleaning the pigpen and mending the fences so no foxes can get inside to harm his animals.
Little Duck is hard at work too. She is busy hanging balloons and streamers and sparkling lights and is making hearts out of everything!

She gave valentines to the chickens, pigs, and sheep.
Then the music started up, and the animals began their Valentine dance. A little fox heard the music, and became curious.
Little Fox followed the trail of Valentines decorations and the music. She could not get into the farmyard, as Farmer Brown had repaired the fences. So she dug a hole and made her way inside.
Little Fox entered the barn and began to yip. The animals stopped dancing. They all stared at Little Fox.
Little Duck was not afraid of Little Fox. She greeted the fox, and gave her a valentine. The fox gave the duck a valentine, too. Then the dancing resumed and the Valentine's Day party continued on!
