Editable Name Plates

These batch of EDITABLE name plates really pack a punch…They include letter sounds, highlight vowels, show left and right AND provide a handy number line, too!

Just type each student’s name once, print the plates and slide them through the laminator so kids can use them all year long.

Getting Ready

The prep for these was super simple. I simply downloaded Hello Fonts. (It’s free on Teachers Pay Teachers HERE!)

Then, I typed each student’s name on a name plate and I printed the pages on cardstock to give them extra durability.

I slid the sheets through a laminator and cut along the grey line to separate the pieces.

I attached each name plate to a desk with Command strips or a similar adhesive. And voila! They were done – and gorgeous!

Editable Name Plates

One of the great things about this resource is that because of its educational theme and rainbow border, they go wonderfully with any theme you’ve decided for your classroom.

These fun plates are amazing for so many reasons. First, they have a reference at the top of the entire alphabet – including uppercase and lowercase letters, along with different colored letters to signify vowels and images to match.

But that’s’ not all – also included is a left-hand and right-hand reference and a number line! These name plates aren’t only for students to identify their desk and name, but also serve as an educational reference for them throughout the year.
