IT'S CHRISTMAS DAVID
Our favorite mischievous character, David, is celebrating Christmas in It's Christmas, David! by David Shannon. Your students will love reading about all of David's antics at Christmastime. Will David be on Santa's nice list or the naughty list this year?
At Christmastime, everyone always said, "No David!" Can you guess why? Maybe it's because David can't help peeking at all the hidden presents. Maybe it's because he sneaks Christmas cookies or playing with the Christmas ornaments like they are toys.
Could it be because David runs down the street only wearing a hat, mittens, and boots?! David also has trouble being patient, waiting to see Santa at the mall. When he finally gets there, guess what his Christmas list looks like! (Hint: It's about a mile long)
David proceeds to break many more rules, and do many improper things. Will David get anything for Christmas, or is he on Santa's Naughty List, headed for a gift of a lump of coal? You'll have to read the book to find out!
