JUNIE B JONES LOVES HANDSOME WARREN
In the book Junie B Jones Loves Handsome Warren by Barbara Park, there is a new boy in Kindergarten! Junie B Jones is very excited about this, because he is so handsome :)
Unfortunately for June B, her friends Grace and Lucille also think that Warren is handsome, and they all want him for a boyfriend!
Lucille thinks that Warren should be her boyfriend, because she saw him first. Your class will have fun sharing their opinions on this point of view.
No matter what June B does to impress Warren, it doesn't work out as planned. He thinks that she is a nutball!
Finally Warren has had enough of the girls and their antics. He just wants to be left alone! In fact, he is sad that he had to move to this new school, and had to leave his old friends behind.
Junie stops trying to pretend to be something she's not, and is simply kind to Warren. This helps Warren feel more comfortable in his new class, and they discover that they can be friends.
