Kindergarten Reading Comprehension Quarter 4

Quarter 4 of the Kindergarten Reading Comprehension Curriculum is here, and it’s packed with so many fun ways to teach kids basic reading comprehension skills! Throughout the curriculum, students will be exposed a variety of reading comprehension strategies through non-fiction and fiction texts. These skills include building vocabulary, making predictions, making connections, understanding text features, understanding story components, and so much more.

This comprehensive Kindergarten reading comprehension curriculum is made up of 36 weekly books. Each book comes with four lesson plans. Quarter 4 includes the fourth 9 weeks of the curriculum. Here is the scope that outlines the books in each week:
