Among the new teachers in RE-1 Valley School District this year are three educators at Ayres Elementary.

One of those new faces is second grade teacher Deborah Reyman. Originally from Southern California, she moved to Colorado in 1996 and now lives in Fort Morgan. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado (Go Bears!) in 2000.

“I was attracted to Ayres Elementary due to their outstanding support staff and administration,” Reyman said.

She decided to go into the teaching field because it allows her to spend time with children, something that brings her great joy.

“I just love their energy and enthusiasm,” Reyman said.

She also enjoys spending time with her husband, five grown children and four grandchildren.

Other new teachers joining her this year include Tina Mines, resource kindergarten/first grade, and Sandra Campbell, significant support needs. They declined to answer our questionnaire.
