Snowmen at Night is another book in the series by Caralyn Buehner that has children imagining what happens to their snowmen when they aren't looking!
In this story, a boy notices that the snowman he made the day earlier does NOT look the same. It makes him wonder, what do snowmen do at night?
The boy imagines that snowmen have races, drink ice-cold cocoa, go ice skating, have snowball fights, go sledding, and do other winter activities.
This would explain why the snowmen look sleepy, crooked, and shorter the next morning. :)
