I am ALL about dark denim in the winter, and these cropped demi-boot jeans have recently become one of my favorite staples in my wardrobe. Hear me out if you’ve been on the fence about demi-boot jeans, I resisted anything that wasn’t skinny for the longest time, but I found the best “introductory” non-skinny jeans last year, and now I’m a total convert. Demi-boot jeans are fitted throughout the waist and thigh depending on the size and style, and then have a cropped, slightly flared lower leg. The key is CROPPED. Full-length Demi-boot jeans make me think of high school, but cropped jeans let a bit of ankle show or the ankle part of a cute bootie. But when Demi-boot jeans/pants only come in full-length, a trick I’ve found to work well is to opt for a petite size to achieve the cropped look. Dark denim is incredibly versatile. Because of the darker wash, you can get away with dressing your jeans up or down a lot easier. So whether you’re looking for weekly outfit ideas, capsule wardrobe inspiration, or workwear outfits, here are a few of my favorite ways to style dark denim.
