LuxeSwap’s Black Friday Blowout

Every year after Thanksgiving, our sponsor LuxeSwap lists the best of what they have in their inventory on eBay. They’re an eBay consignor that works with both companies and private individuals to clear out clothes — old stock, second-hand, sample items, etc. Since they only trade in high-end clothing, their listings are better than most. But after Thanksgiving, they list what LuxeSwap founder Matthew Ruiz describes as “the best of the best,” which makes browsing their eBay auctions a real treat.

LuxeSwap normally has over a thousand auctions listed at any given time. This week, however, it has been whittled down to 537 listings, which makes it easier to comb through their page. Included are some recognizable items from one of our favorite retailers, No Man Walks Alone. They have some Inis Meain knitwear, G. Inglese shirts, Heschung Tyrolean shoes, and Scott & Charters shawl collar cardigans. Iron Heart makes some of my favorite flannel shirts. They’re made from a densely woven cotton — so densely woven, these function like windproof shirt jackets — and then tripled brushed inside for a soft-kitten finish. You simply won’t find a warmer flannel shirt (just size up, as these run very trim). I’m mostly bummed that the Stoffa x 11.11 patchwork pants and the large run of Sartoria Formosa tailoring don’t come in my size. There’s even a sport coat in there made with the custom “summer tweed” I ran a few years ago. Wear that with cream or dark brown trousers.

If you’re for a great deal, you can browse LuxeSwap’s listings on eBay. We’ve also listed some highlights here.
