Stay Healthy!
The puggle princess and I spent some time out on the water this week kayaking around the cove. Let’s just say it’s a little harder to paddle when it’s windy out than when the water is smooth. Lucy loves it though and hey… she didn’t dive in for any buoys this week so that’s a plus.

My List of Garden Projects For This Year I want to Accomplish
The bulbs have been ordered and so now we just need to start prepping the garden areas for planting. I’d say we have at least a month or so before the bulbs will go into the ground, but there are still a few areas that need to be cleared {mostly towards the road} before they’ll be ready for planting.
I also planted a row of beets at the back of the house. I may have planted them a little late, but at least they are in an area where I could toss a row cover over them if/when it gets too chilly.
Still left on the list:
-
Install a simple flower bed border in front of the house{Done} Start a lasagna garden- Install a boatload of birdhouses/feeders in the side yard {re-thinking this one}
- Transplant evergreen saplings to the side of property for a privacy border {fall project}
- Clean up and prune the area that faces the road {working on it}
-
Install a vegetable garden{Done} -
Install a sunflower patch{decided for a row along the side of the barn instead} - Plant 2,500 flower bulbs in the fall {Why 2,500? It seemed like a good number to start with}
Reach 10,000 Sales on Etsy {as of this morning I’ve made 8301 sales on Etsy}. Only 1699 to go!
Yesterday I added a few new wool bundles to my Etsy shop, including this delicious bundle of perfect pumpkin wool. I just did the math on this goal and it looks like I will need to sell 15 items a day if I am going to hit the 10,00 sales goal I set for myself at the beginning of the year. Eeek!
Hopefully there are a lot of hookers out there that need wool, or everyone and their cousin wants to buy an ornament this year. Only time will tell.
