Our Rome Collection is now available in sizes 14-30!

As we begin rolling out older patterns in extended sizing, we’re excited to announce that we now have three more patterns in our new size range! Our Fiore Skirt, Cielo Top & Dress and Pietra Pants & Shorts are now available in sizes 14-30 as a PDF digital download. These are some of our bestselling patterns, and they mix and match effortlessly to create the perfect capsule wardrobe. With spring fast approaching, we know you’ll enjoy adding these quick and easy-to-sew garments to your closet.

For the next two weeks, you can get all three patterns at 20% off when you purchase the bundle, or save 20% on our Learn to Sew Clothing course which includes all three with enrolment (discount code for course: LEARNTOSEW). The discount applies to both size ranges, so if you missed our sale last summer, now’s your chance!

Sale ends Friday, March 13th at midnight EST.

FAQ

How do I access the new size range if I’ve already purchased a Rome Collection pattern?

If you’ve purchased a PDF pattern from our Rome Collection in the past, you’ll automatically get access to the new sizes. We’ve sent out an email with an updated link (check your spam folder if you don’t see it in your inbox!), but you can also access them when you’re signed into your account on our site, or by using the original download link that was sent to you at the time of purchase.

I’ve already purchased the Learn to Sew course. How do I access the new size range?

We’ve updated our “Getting Started” section to include all files from both size ranges. If you log in to your student account, you will be able to download them in the lesson called “Download Your Pattern Here”.

I’ve purchased a print pattern but I would like access to the new sizes!

Going forward with new pattern releases we will not be able to offer extended sizing for print patterns since they are only available in PDF format. However, since our 14-30 size range wasn’t available when you originally purchased your pattern, we are making an exception and can send you the new files digitally with proof of purchase. If you’ve purchased a print pattern from our shop, please email us with your order number. If you’ve purchased a pattern from one of our retailers, please email us with a picture of your pattern next to a piece of paper with today’s date written on it. Please send your request to: support@closetcasepatterns.com

How does the drafting of the size 14-30 range differ from the original patterns?

Stylistically, no changes were made to the extended size range. Each was drafted from scratch using our new, curvier block to best fit a D cup with a larger waist to hip ratio (learn more about the differences between our two size ranges here). Otherwise, style lines and details remain the same.

I fall in between the two size ranges. What size range should I sew?

If you fall in our current 0-20 size range, we recommend sticking with your typical size since changes between the two ranges are relatively minor. Even if you have a larger bust, our original Cielo Top & Dress pattern in the 0-20 size range includes bonus C & D Cup FBA pattern pieces, so you will be well served with the existing pattern.
