I’m getting ready to sign off for the holidays but wanted to share a few favorites from Nordstrom if you’re looking for last-minute gifts or just something cozy for yourself. I was excited when they asked me to round up my favorite pieces from their in-house brands and decided to focus on sweaters since that’s mostly what I’ll be wearing for the next several months in Connecticut. I was already familiar with their brand Halogen because I’ve worn their under $100 sweaters for years (two throwback posts here and here!), but I found some really good ones from the Nordstrom brand, Open Edit, and Treasure & Bond as well. Nordstrom also makes it really clear on their site which styles, colors, and sizes will still ship in time for Christmas (and which you can pick up same or next day at a store near you!) so be sure to check that out as you shop!
Treasure & Bond side slit sweater in oatmeal heather, $69 // I cannot believe how soft this sweater is for this price point. It’s a heavier cotton/wool knit that will be perfect for bundling up in freezing weather but they also sell matching pants for a super comfy weekend look. I’m wearing the XS and it has a comfortably oversized fit but if you’re deciding between two sizes, I would order down!
Treasure & Bond high/low v-neck sweater, $69 // This one is the same cotton/wool blend as the sweater above and has a similarly oversized fit, but with a split high/low hem that’s great if you want to tuck the front into jeans or a skirt. I’m wearing “blue manor” color but it comes in four color options!
Treasure & Bond crop cotton blend cardigan, $69 // I love the subtle puff sleeve and cable-knit front of this cropped cardigan and it’s the same super soft blend as the first two styles. I ordered the small instead of the XS as I didn’t want it to be too cropped and think that’s the way to go for this one. It comes in two other colors but I’m excited to wear this chocolate brown color with brown suede booties!
Halogen mock neck sweater, $49 // I love a mock neck and this is a classic option for under $50. It’s again very soft but much more lightweight than the three styles above — could be ideal if you live in a slightly warmer climate or just plan to layer underneath a coat or vest.
Open Edit turtleneck sweater, $59 // I’d consider this a slightly trendier style with the cropped length and bell sleeve but I couldn’t resist the perfect charcoal gray color. The size XS is a roomy fit that’s perfect with high-waisted denim.
Nordstrom convertible puff sleeve sweater, $89 // This one is the dressiest of the bunch thanks to the off-the-shoulder neckline which I think is so flattering on women of all ages. I would recommend sizing down in this one. A really pretty option for a double date or girls’ night!
