Tom Brady took part in The Match: Champions for Charity and played a round of golf with Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning in a bid to raise US$20 million for COVID-19 relief efforts.

He struggled for the first six holes, but managed to follow up with an amazing shot. Unfortunately, the attention was directed to his pants, which had ripped in front of cameras.

Immediately, Twitter users began mocking Brady for his mishap on television. ESPN analyst Emmanuel Acho commented, “Somebody gonna let Tom Brady know he got a rip in his pants.”

Another user responded to the post with, “He should’ve brought an extra pair of pants in case he got a hole in one.”

Brady had a sense of humor about the situation as he came on Twitter to retweet a post of his ripped pants. “Pants wanted in on social distancing, I guess…” he added.

All just because I.... ripped my pants. #tombrady #thematch pic.twitter.com/odYY8s8zIN
