WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NORDSTROM SALE – AND THE BEST SALES PICKS YOU CAN CHOOSE NOW

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the biggest sales events of summer. When you can access it depends on whether you are a Nordstrom club member or not. Take a look at what to expect from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale as well as clothes, shoes and accessories already discounted.

What to expect from the Nordstrom Sale

The earliest access is from July 6 for Nordy Club Icons, Ambassadors and Influencers. Everyone has access from July 28 through August 8.

You’ll find there are more than 100 brands in the Anniversary Sale this year that weren’t there last year, including Reiss, Club Monaco, BDG Urban Outfitters, Billabong and Re/Done.

Don’t worry though, you don’t actually have to wait if you don’t want to. There are plenty of discounts already to be found at Nordstrom. See below for some of the sale items I have my eye on.

I like the versatility of the drape cardigan (below). You could wear as shown in the image, or you could knot it by using the two longer sections as a tie.

It comes in a good choice of neutral shades including gray, taupe, white and black as well as burgundy and the brownish-red below. Perfect to buy now for when summer turns to fall.

Another drapey option for you, the Karen Kane asymmetrical top below would be a good choice if you are looking to hide a belly.

I love the cobalt blue shade of the Vince Camuto top (below), as well as the tie waist detailing. It would go beautifully with white jeans.

Depending on where you live, it may not quite be coat weather yet, but this belted Ralph Lauren coat could be a good one to put away for fall and winter.

I like the clean lines, the tie waist and the oversized collar. This will look good on most body shapes but would be particularly flattering if you have a pear shape figure as the collar will balance up your hips and thighs.

Do you have an event coming up to attend this summer. This Halogen dress would be perfect. It features an unusual asymmetrical hemline and short sleeves if you prefer not to show your upper arms.

Zella is one of my favorite leggings brands (you’ll find more in this article on how to wear leggings over 40). I like the on-trend tie-dye print on the high-waisted pair (below).

I’m sure you know how much of a big fan of asymmetry I am. I’m also a big fan of wearing red. So the Alice + Olivia skirt (below) is a perfect combination. Be quick though, there weren’t very many left when I looked.

I also like the mixed media element and the asymmetric, diagonal detailing on the stitching of the Vince skirt (below) which could be dressed up for dinner or a summer event.

Now, let’s take a look at some of the shoes in the Nordstrom sale, that you can wear this summer.

Sam Edelman’s cutout slide sandals (below) are an absolute classic that you can wear for many summers to come.
