Homemade Dog Treats

I’m Just a typical furmom striving to be the person my dog thinks I am 😂 and I have to be the best at everything I do, as always soooooo here’s my recipe for all natural dog treats using simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand with a quick and easy to follow instruction list.

Homemade Doggie Treats 🐾

  • Homemade dog treats

Makes 20 servings depending on which cookie cutters you use. I used child blocks to make small squares and it yielded about 20 treats.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup almond flour
    • 1/2 cup rolled oats
    • 1 T boullion
    • 1 ripe banana
    • 1/3 cup peanut butter
    • 1 egg
  • Directions
    1. Mix all ingredients well in a large bowl. I like to warm the peanut butter a little first so it’s easier to mix in.
Place in freezer for 15 min to make the dough easier to work with.
Roll it out on a lightly floured Sudafed and use any shaped cutter you prefer or shape by hand like cookies. I used my daughters blocks as cutters
Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.

You can keep these in the freezer and pull them out as needed. You can refrigerate them for up to a week. They will also be fine at room temperature for 4 days.

You can use regular white flour if you prefer. That decision is completely up to you. Most dog treats do contain white flour but many dogs experience allergies to white flour so I prefer to use almond.

If your dough is too sticky add more flour.
