Paleo Banana Bread

Banana bread is a classic comfort food, but most traditional recipes are loaded with sugar, wheat flour, and other ingredients that aren’t paleo-friendly. This recipe is a healthy and delicious alternative that is easy to make and tastes great. Enjoy it as a breakfast treat or a satisfying snack any time of day

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan with coconut oil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the beaten eggs, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the coconut flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth out the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before removing it from the pan and slicing.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature and enjoy!
