October 1st started out with a fun Halloween treat for the girls. Nothing big just a few goodies I picked up while out and about.
They still love these little surprises which makes my heart so happy!
The month of October is my favorite time to watch scary movies! This one was a big thumbs down but we had a month full of fun scary movies we watched.
Brooklyn being Brooklyn
A beautiful day to walk!
It had just rained and my mums looked extra pretty out in the backyard.
A little Fall decor mixed with a freshly picked rose from the yard
Enjoyed a few cozy mornings cuddled up with my furboy
Brooklyn has been drawing A LOT lately and this was just amazing! She is so very talented.
Daddy took Brooklyn out to dinner after her first cross country race. She chose breakfast for dinner and yes she ate all of that on her own!
The next morning she was up bright and early to cheer on her sisters cross country race!
We wrapped up Brooklyn's soccer season which unfortunately was not our favorite. Coaching was terrible and not fair for the girls, fingers crossed next year goes better.
My sister and brother in law held a chili cook off which they used to do yearly but it had been awhile.
I got to cuddle my newest nephew
We listened to my brother in laws band play
and enjoyed some fun family time.
Another art piece done by Brooklyn with her new oil paints she had gotten for her birthday. It's just perfect for Fall.
Soup season!
She looked too cute not to photograph
Every couple of weeks we head to the library per Kayla's request. Sometimes we have to go right after school so Brooklyn has to come along despite her dismay. She is not excited by reading whatsoever but she was excited to find a new play area in the kid section which we could not get her to leave.
Our cute June in her "crib"
A perfect Fall walk to work!
Home
Hot toddies while we watched Downton Abbey.
We just finished it last night and I could not be more sad, definitely one of my favorite shows of all time! Looking forward to seeing the movies.
Brooklyn getting creative the week of Halloween.
I sub for the school district as a Health Instructional Assistant for Autistic children and pretty much only sub for preschool and Kindergarten. My favorite day to work is always on the field trip day to the pumpkin patch which is easy to get because many do not share my excitement to work on this day, lol.
I happen to love it and having a parent bring me Starbucks makes it even sweeter!
Chris has every other Friday off of work so if I'm not working we try and use the time to go out. This month we visited our favorite winery to enjoy some lunch and wine of course.
Hope you're not tired of seeing Brooklyn's art yet cause here is another amazing drawing of hers that she then watercolored.
October was a fun month and a great way to get ready for the next two months!!
