This book is really an easy read and is intended for younger children, but I can assure you that Kindergarten kids will love it. The words are simple, but the pictures are powerful. The Donkey Egg by Janet Stevens
Sometimes you find a children’s book that you get excited to read anytime of the year. For me, one of these books is Tops & Bottoms by Janet Stevens. She wrote a sequel to this amazing book recently called The Donkey Egg. You must check it out here on Amazon. I believe you will love it too. Hare gives Bear a special donkey egg which Bear has to take care of until it hatches. Can you guess what it actually is?

The Best Nest by P.D. Eastman
This book is a classic. I remember reading it as a child and my students still enjoy it today. I bet if you see the cover, you will recall it as well. Non Fiction Books about Oviparous Animals for Kindergarten
