Grease stains can be one of the hardest things to get rid of on laundry, so I was so excited when I found this excellent video tutorial by The Learning Lab, on YouTube, that described an ingenious way to get rid of a grease stain using chalk. Eating greasy food can be a very fun and delicious activity, but if you get grease on your clothes it can be a real bummer. Every time I decide to eat a greasy hamburger, I always start out thinking that I am going to be so careful and not get greasy burger juice anywhere on my clothing, and I always end up with it on my shirt or pants. I was so excited when I found this awesome video tutorial that described exactly how to get rid of paint on clothing, I was so excited to try it. This chalk method of cleaning is so easy and only requires a few materials that are probably already laying around the house.
Materials To Remove Grease Stains:
- Chalk
- (A spray bottle with water and a little Dawn liquid)
- A towel
Directions:
In this excellent video tutorial by The Learning Lab, on YouTube, you will learn how to get oil out of clothing quickly using ordinary chalk. You will begin by removing the article of clothing immediately, then rubbing the area with chalk.
Then, you will spray the area with water and Dawn and let that sit for about 20 minutes. Then, blot the area dry with a towel.
