In Decembers installment of One Piece, Four Ways, were tackling faux leather leggings! Ive received a couple questions about how to style them appropriately in my newsletter, so I thought Id dedicate a post to the subject. I have amassed quite the collection of leather and faux leather pants and leggings over the years they are so useful and comfortable! From casual errands outfits to dressy cocktail looks, theyre one of the most versatile pieces in my winter wardrobe.
These days I mostly only wear my faux leather leggings when I know Ill be wearing them with a coat, trench, cardigan, vest, cape or some other layer aside from a top/sweater most of the day. Either that, or Ill pair them with a sweater/top that features a longer hem (like the one-shoulder sequin top above)! My butt/saddlebags are a bit of a problem area for me, and I generally like to keep those concealed if possible. If youve got the confidence to rock em without a longer layer, go for it!
